Story

Hello!

If you're reading this then we're halfway to getting you to dig deep and sponsor us.

We're all excited to be training for the London Marathon. I'm (Michele) particularly pleased Alison and Sally signed up for a cause that's really close to my heart. Training through the cold, wet, dark winter is really not fun! And we've realised our prize for the training will be lining up at the start on 21st April.

Our training is well underway and with just under nine weeks to go, we set off on a Half Marathon yesterday (18/02/2024). The photo at the top is of us, just crossing the start line. I've also popped up a photo of us post coffee, once we'd finished.

We were all shattered by the end! And that's only half the distance.

By donating, you are supporting everyone to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability.

One in five of us will become disabled at some point in our lives. Many will become disabled after an accident, or from a stroke, cancer or developing conditions like multiple sclerosis or motor neurone disease. These life-changing circumstances can stop people in their tracks.

Thank you for your donation, every pound helps.
