Story

I will be taking part in this Sleep Out on a c-c-cold November night to raise vital funds for MACS who are tackling youth homelessness locally by providing homes and support to over 700 young people each year.

Many of the young people MACS work with have experienced the care system, homelessness, poverty, adverse childhood experiences, generational trauma, the criminal justice system, low educational attainment and/or mental health challenges including substance dependency and self-harm.

MACS's provide holistic needs-based support with education and training, health and wellbeing; mental health, social participation, helping each young person to build a pathway out of the homelessness cycle towards a positive future.

£450 can provide a rental deposit to secure a place to call home

£55 can pay for an hour with a specialist health practitioner

£5 can pay for transport to their first job interview
