Story

I am taking part in the Birmingham Half Marathon to raise funds for the Safe Sleep Scheme, which is coordinated by Thrive Together Birmingham. The Safe Sleep Scheme provides sleeping equipment to families with children under 5 who are living in crisis situations.

About the charity

Thrive Together Birmingham is a joint venture charity of the Church of England Birmingham and Church Urban Fund which aims to support individuals, churches and organisations who are committed to addressing issues of poverty and to playing their part in helping their neighbourhoods to flourish. We offer bespoke support and oversee a number of birmingham based initiatives such as Body Mind Spirit Partnership, Near Neighbours, Toys4Birmingham, Safe Spaces for Young People, Places of Welcome, Warm Welcome Hubs, Birmingham Poverty Truth Commission.
