Story
In April this year I'll be attempting my first full marathon - and having lived and worked in Manchester for over a year, I want to raise as much money as possible to support efforts across the city to help end homelessness in Manchester.
For anyone who lives in or has visited Manchester, they'll know that homelessness is a huge problem throughout the city - one that needs a significant amount funding to tackle and make a tangible difference.
The Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity raises funds to support homelessness initiatives across the city region. They work tirelessly to make sure that nobody in the city region should be without a safe, secure place to call home.
To give an idea of how donations will make a difference - just £30 covers the cost of a good night’s sleep, a hot meal and the vital wrap around support that can help people move onto more stable accommodation - A lifeline that changes lives.
