Story
As most of you will know I lost my wife Kelly Pendry to a uterine leiomayosarcoma only a few weeks ago and I vowed to keep raising awareness and to fight to get Sarcoma more recognised by our government.
Kelly meant more than the world to me, she was my angel and I miss her more and more each day. Kelly was an incredible mother to our 2 children and she was loved by everyone who met her. Kelly really did light up a room when she entered it and that light was still there long after she left. Even now, her light is still there, keeping us all going and she will be with me with each step I take on this journey, I know it.
Kellys favourite animal was a penguin so I will running the marathon in a Penguin outfit!
I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you for your support.
