In light of the current Coronavirus outbreak The Myton Hospices have unfortunately had to take the tough decision to postpone our flagship fundraising event, Glow for Myton.

This event was set to raise at least £60,000, so having to postpone it will have a significant financial impact. With rising uncertainty and a rapidly-escalating situation, it is likely this will be the first of many fundraising events that they will be forced to postpone or cancel and the potential impact on us as a charity is huge.

Providing dedicated care and support for terminally ill patients and their families in our hospices and in the community is our primary focus, and they need to raise over £9 million every year to continue to do this.

Thats £750,000 every month, and they are genuinely concerned about the impact the Coronavirus outbreak is already having on our ability to raise vital funds.
