Story
I'm running the 2025 TCS London Marathon for Alzheimer's Research UK!
As many of you know, Abi's Dad suffered from dementia and passed away in the spring of 2022. To honour her father and raise money to help fight this terrible disease, Abi joined the Alzheimer's Research UK team at the 2023 London Marathon. This was very near and dear to her heart and it meant the world to her to be able to take part with this incredible organization to help fight against dementia.
Tragically in July of 2024, Abi, the love of my life and best friend, died in a car accident and to honour her and her passion for life, I now have the privilege to carry on in her name to further raise money for a disease that affects so many people. I know Abi will be proudly looking down on this day with a full heart as I toe the line in her name to carry on the fight.
I know in the wake of Abi's death, many of you have already made donations to her charities but if you can, please donate to Alzheimer’s Research UK for her, for me, and for all who have suffered from dementia and loss in their lives.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity.
We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.
With your support, we will keep going until every person is free from the heartbreak of dementia.
Thank you for supporting me as I run 26.2 miles for a cure!
