Story

Thank you for looking at my page. On Sunday July 23rd I am setting off to walk all 630 miles of the South West Coast Path.

The walk will take 37 days including 2rest days. I will mostly be camping each night and carrying everything in my backpack.

The walk starts in Minehead, Somerset and takes in North Devon, North Cornwall, Lands End, South Cornwall, South Devon, and Dorset.

Hugging the coastline the path is a rollercoaster of steep climbs in and out of hidden coves, in fact the total climbs equal four times the height of Everest.

The path originated from the coast guard searching for smugglers.

I have completed the South West Coast Path before, but I did it in stages, always starting from where I left off but completing the path in one continuous walk day after day is a whole new level, especially in the height of the summer heat.

I am passionate to raise funds for Hospiscare and would really appreciate you making a donation, thank you.
