Story

Time for a heart to heart: Earlier last year I had a valve replacement on my heart, during which, I turned to the Somerville Heart Foundation for moral support and advice.

Somerville is an amazing charity offering a broad range of support to young people and adults born with Congenital Heart Disease.

The charity provides a forum featuring guidance for individuals seeking professional advice from medical experts and a space to voice heart related concerns.

Ever since leaving the hospital I’ve set myself a personal goal of running a half Marathon. As such, I will be running the Royal Parks Half marathon on the 13th of October 2024.

I’ll be running for Congenital Heart Disease survivors and all the friends and families across the U.K. who offer support to the CHD community of which it is hugely appreciated.

So I’ll make you guys a deal, if you give generously and smash that £3,000 target, I promise to smash that half marathon on the 13th of October, deal?
