Knight Frank Group - Yorkshire 3 peaks hike · 14 July 2023

On Feb 24, 2022, in an unprovoked act of aggression Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Thousands of Ukrainians lost their lives in the fight, millions fled their homes. We're fundraising to offer relief to those suffering or in danger.

Story

As part of a fundraising activity for Knight Frank, a team of volunteers are hiking the Yorkshire 3 peaks on Friday 14th July to raise money for the Ukraine war crisis appeal.

This challenge involves a 24.5 mile (39.2 km) hike in a single day (12 hours) across the Yorkshire Dales National Park and involves climbing 3 mountain peaks:

Pen-Y-Ghent – 694 metres

Whernside – 736 metres

Ingleborough – 723 metres

Who are the Ukraine war crisis appeal?

Given the acute humanitarian crisis created by the Russian invasion, Ukraine Charity is now fundraising for emergency medical supplies for Ukrainians.

The funds will be used to procure medicines and medical equipment from UK and European suppliers. Donations have already been used to purchase trauma treatment packages, and the list of others essentials to be supplied is growing rapidly.

Important: you can use GiftAid if you're a UK taxpayer, which will be added to your donation!

Ukraine Charity is a registered charity in the UK. Charity Registration No. 1163036
