Story

On the 2nd of September I’m going to abseil down the Spinnaker tower, a 170-metre landmark in Portsmouth, to raise money for Solent Mind, a charity that supports people with mental health issues in the region.

Why am I doing this? Because I believe that mental health is as important as physical health, and that everyone deserves to have access to the help they need. Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time, and they can have a huge impact on people’s lives. Solent Mind provides vital services such as counselling, peer support, advocacy, and wellbeing activities, to help people cope and recover from mental distress.

But they can’t do it alone. They need our support to continue their work and reach more people who need them. That’s why I’m asking you to sponsor me for this challenge. Every pound you donate will make a difference to someone’s life.

Thank you for your generosity and encouragement. Together, we can make a positive change for mental health.
