So, I decided to walk on glass. This forms part of a new charity drive at Caremark Cheltenham, where the team has decided to challenge the MD in aid of good causes. My first challenge is to walk on glass to Support and increase awareness about the incredible work being done by Longfield Hospice in providing care and support to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.

Inspired by the resilience and strength of the hospice patients and the tireless efforts of the hospice staff, we decided to embark on a challenging and symbolic journey - walking on glass to raise awareness and funds for Longfield Hospice. The idea behind this daring endeavor was to symbolise the pain and challenges faced by those battling illnesses, while also highlighting the importance of support and care in their journey.

I chose to support Longfield Community Hospice as they are local to us, based in Minchinhampton, Stroud . They provide free care, 365 days of the year, for adults in Gloucestershire who live with a life-limiting illness and provide support for their families and carers. In 22/23 Longfield supported over 1600 patients, family members and carers and this year they need to raise over £4.7 million to be able to continue doing what they do so well!
