I am running with my parents, my husband, my son and my nephew. We are running in memory of my beautiful sister, Anna.

She spent her last days in Katharine House Hospice, surrounded by her family. She was extremely well looked after and cared for. The staff are simply amazing ❤️ I am running for the fabulous facility and staff that provide our loved ones with a dignified, caring end of life support. I still visit Katharine House Hospice as a place of comfort, knowing how well my sister was taken care of.

All our services are completely free to patients, and we are heavily dependent on donations and support from the community to help raise the £5.3 million needed each year to run the hospice. This equates to £14,500 a day! We're aiming for this year's Santa Fun Run to pay for Christmas Day at the hospice.

Your fundraising will not only help to fund the clinical costs at the

hospice, but also all the extra services that make it such a special

place – from bereavement support to art therapies, from relaxation

class to the hospice food and so much more.
