I’m running the London Marathon to raise funds for Cherry Trees.

Cherry Trees provides home from home care for children with complex disabilities whilst also providing their parents and family with a meaningful break. Every hour of care they provide at Cherry Trees requires an extra £8.13. Your donation on JustGiving will make a meaningful difference in supporting the children and families around Surrey who use their services.

Every hour of care provides the family with an often much needed meaningful break. They can recharge, spend quality time with partners and siblings, meet friends, go to work, clean the house or simply relax.

Last year, Cherry Trees provided a lifeline to 63 families by providing 1,551 sleepovers and 633 tea or day visits. On top of this core care, they ran five parent and staff wellbeing days, and provided small but vital financial grants through our bursary and welfare funds. These additional services ensure their families receive the physical, emotional and financial support they need.
