Michael's fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities

Michael Brown is raising money for Ronald McDonald House UK

Skydive Weekend · 4 July 2026 to 5 July 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Ronald McDonald House UK helps families with children in hospital stay close by providing free accommodation just minutes from children’s hospital wards. Our Houses provide more than accommodation. We offer stability and emotional support that allow parents and carers to be active partners in care.

Story

Our amazing son Oliver was born on the 9th Feb 2026. After an amazing 20 hours together we had his routine head to toe check and found out he has a birth defect. This led to us being rushed to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and a week in Neonatal care. During this time we were referred to Ronald McDonald who gave us a home from home in our time of need and this became the first place Oliver was able to sleep outside of hospital. We had a second stay 4 weeks later after his corrective surgery and again RMH gave us a room to stay.

I am doing a skydive on the 4th July to raise money to one cover back our stay but also provide funding for other families in their time of need.

My minimum target for the event is £400 but it would be amazing to raise more money so more families can be helped.

Any donation would be amazing thank you in advance.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children having treatment in hospital.

Our Houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.

We help over 6,000 families each year and now, more than ever, we need your support. Thank you.
