I'm really excited to say I'm joining Team Rainbows to run one of the most iconic marathons in the world.

London 2025!!

Some of you may be aware that my last marathon didn't go quite to plan in 2019. After running some fun marathons in Berlin and Chicago I took on trying to run a PB at the London Marathon in 2019. That sadly didn't quite work and unfortunately, I ended up stopping at mile 19 and was taken to hospital only to find out I had broken my right leg at the hip.

So, a couple of hip operations and 6 years later I'm back to take on this epic challenge. Though this time no PB's let’s just make the 26.2miles round and enjoy the run.

I'm so happy to be raising money for such an amazing charity that is Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. At Available Car we have been fundraising for Rainbows since 2007 and are proud to support such an incredible charity.

I'm creating a running vest where anyone that wants to sponsor can buy a space on the vest. As the East Midlands only hospice for children and young people, Rainbows is a place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. Their incredible team of people help relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.
