Great North Run 2024 · 8 September 2024 ·

The Great North Run is the worlds biggest half marathon and is back for 2024 on Sunday 8th September. Will you join the Headlight Project Team and run to raise vital funds and awareness of suicide prevention?

Story

Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, the Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by suicide in the Tees Valley, which has one of the highest regional rates in the country. We aim to achieve this by providing therapy to those bereaved by suicide, and delivering preventative education and training to schools, local businesses and the community.
