Story

On the 11th May 2024, my friend Hannah and I will be taking part in a 10k to raise money for the funding of MS research.

This cause is really important to me as I have seen how bravely and strongly my mum copes with this illness, while still always being the best mum to me and my siblings. My mum has always been an amazing support system for me, and now I would like to do this for her, and others who have to fight MS.

Multiple Sclerosis is an auto-immune disease, wherein the immune system attacks the fatty coating around the Central Nervous system. It can attack suddenly or progress steadily, causing a variety of symptoms which can include: sight loss, fatigue and mobility problems.

Multiple Sclerosis affects 1 in every 500 individuals and women are 3x more likely to be affected. The lack of awareness, research and overall funding means that many people are left to live with this illness without a definitive 'cure'. Your donations will go towards life-changing MS research.

Thank you!
