I'm running The London Marathon 2024 for Asthma + Lung UK in honour of my younger brother, Matthew.

Matthew sadly passed away in July when he suffered an asthma attack and went into cardiac arrest whilst backpacking in Bordeaux. He was only 25 years old. He was an organ donor and saved three young children.

Matt was incredibly fit and healthy. He was a great runner. We signed up to run the 2024 London Marathon together via the ballot but we didn’t secure a place. However, I’m so proud to share that I’ve managed to secure a charity place and I’ll be running it in April 2024 in memory of Matt and to raise money for Asthma + Lung UK.

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute. Asthma + Lung UK are the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
