On 14th December 2024 NW Minis, in association with Swayne Johnson Solicitors, are bringing Merry Minis to Ty Gobaith Hospice!!

NW Minis will be visiting the hospice during the afternoon to bring some festive cheer to the families for whom the hospice is a lifeline.

Whilst NW Minis and Swayne Johnson Solicitors will be taking some Christmas Eve boxes to donate to families we also want to be sure to raise vital funds to support the hospice and ensure that they can continue to help families in our local community.

Tŷ Gobaith is just outside Conwy with stunning views across the estuary. It offers peace and tranquillity to the children and families who visit and is sensitive to the needs of the local population, many of whom speak Welsh as a first language.

They have four children's bedrooms and three parents/family rooms. There is a multi-sensory room, young adult lounge, playroom, therapy room, kitchen and dining room and a parents' lounge. Their Snowflake suite enables families to stay close to their child after they have died and before the funeral.

They support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died.

It costs £9.6 million every year to run their services. Approximately two month’s income comes from statutory sources and for the other 10 months of the year they are dependent on public support.

Their mission is to reach every child with a life-threatening condition in the area, to give them and their family access to professional care and improve their quality of life, and to raise the money they need to do this. Let’s help them achieve this goal - every penny counts!
