Mike and Ant will be taking on two challenges for A Bit of a Break. First up is the Great North Run (half marathon) on 8 September followed by The Long Mynd Hike (50 Miles / 10,000 Feet / 24 Hours) on 5 October.

A Bit of a Break is growing a portfolio of gifted, unfilled time in self-catering cottages, to offer families dealing with terminal illness a chance to spend time with their loved ones.

In 2011 Angela Sturgeon was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She tirelessly raising over £42,000 for cancer-related charities. She loved spending precious time away with family & friends where she could feel normal again and build lasting memories. She wanted to help others in a similar situation so she set up the A Bit of a Break charity.
