Story

Hey hey! Over the last few years we've raised a whopping £100k+ for Mercy Ships through selling our mascot Captain Hudson and I can never thank you enough, you've changed so many lives for the better.

To put it into context, that money could cure blindness through cateract surgerys for over 500 children and adults. That blows my MIND.

We're on version 5 at the moment and I know that not everybody needs or wants another Captain Hudson, as cute as he is... So I've created this page so you can just donate without buying a toy if you'd like to. Or maybe you want to add on an extra donation. It all makes a massive difference.

Global Mercy (Mercy Ships' newest ship) is currently in Sierra Leone, where the average salary is $40 a month. So even if you don't think you can donate 'much,' trust me, it'll make a much bigger impact than you think.

If you do want a Captain Hudson toy those can be found on EmmaCruisesShop.com while stocks last!

Thank you all so so much for your support with this.

Globally, there are five billion people who have no access to safe, affordable surgery when they need it. Mercy Ships is working hard to plug this gap. Since 1978, Mercy Ships has visited more than 70 countries, providing services worth more than £1 billion that have directly helped more than 2.5 million people. Mercy Ships has also trained more than 38,000 local health professionals in order to leave a legacy that lasts. www.mercyships.org.uk
