Story

Each year for Learning Disability Awareness Week - Mencap's Tennis Team come up with a fun fundraising idea to raise awareness and funds!

For 2024...it's Legend Lookalikes! on Thursday 13th June - Mencap members will be turning into famous tennis players to complete a Tennis Team Challenge!

The tennis team are taking aim and would love to raise £100 to go towards our Mencap Community Cottage Access Improvement Fund! We want to install a lift to upstairs, ramp access and a fully accessible toilet to help make the cottage fully inclusive.

Mencap Liverpool is a local, independent charity that works with people with a learning disability to discover new opportunities, make friends, and feel valued and safe in their community.

We are a small, local charity affiliated to but financially independent of Royal Mencap. This means we need to apply to grants and trusts for funds every year. So we are always grateful for any donations and they help make such a positive difference!
