Story
Jay, James, Neil & Tom are Cycling 100 Miles!
Simply put, we're just four lads who want to do their bit for charity and take on a challenge in doing so. That challenge is Ride London-Essex. This is a 100 mile bike ride that starts and finishes in Central London but heads out to some lovely towns and villages in Essex on route.
Some of our friends and family have already raised over £29,000 for Anthony Nolan in memory of Natalie Dixon. Natalie was Jays wifes (Tracey) best friend and she sadly passed away due to the effects of blood cancer.
Jay's sister was also diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2019 at the age of 20. She has now been in remission for a couple of years and is recovering extremely well.
Now a little bit about Anthony Nolan. Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. We won’t stop until we save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings us closer to that day.
