Story
LATCH Welsh Children’s Cancer Charity supports children, young people and their families, who have a cancer or leukaemia diagnosis and are under the care of the Children’s Hospital for Wales.
When I joined LATCH last year, I learned quickly what makes the charity special. I was touched by the personalised and individualised support services provided by LATCH to our children, young people and families as they face the often, long, gruelling and uncertain journey of cancer treatment.
The essence of the charity is, and has been since its inception in the early 1980s, about giving hope, making life a little easier for children, young people and their families and putting their needs first.
This year the charity celebrates its 40th anniversary and I'm taking on a run 40km challenge in September to help raise funds and to support LATCH's 40kfor40th Fundraising Campaign.
My aim is to run a total of 40km during the month of September.
Will you donate to help me complete this challenge? My goal is to raise £400.00 for LATCH.
