We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Men United in Song is a fresh challenge for men in 2024, inspired by the nationwide response to community singing through the television appearances of Gareth Malone (The Choir) and the well-known Military Wives Choir.

Beginning in March, we want 40 local men to sign up to raise a large amount of money for Prostate Cancer UK by learning to sing to a high standard over 9 weeks under the direction of professional musicians. It culminates in May with a live performance at the Swan Theatre, in front of an audience of family, friends and the public.

No previous singing experience is necessary, just a willingness to step outside your comfort zone, get stuck in and give it a go.
