Story

I have heard and read so much about the incredible difference that Macmillan make to people affected by cancer. I am delighted to have the opportunity, with a group of friends, to take part in the July Peak District Mighty Hike to raise funds for this brilliant cause.

We have just started our training and plan to be in peak fitness for the hike, which we understand to be quite challenging! Myself, Helen, Annabel, Zoe, Georgina, Raj and Beccy would be so grateful if you could help us reach our pledge of £250 each.

The demand for cancer services continues to increase and Macmillan are currently having to cut services, despite trying to provide medical, practical and emotional support to all people affected by cancer. I was shocked to learn that someone is diagnosed with cancer every 2 seconds, and 1 in 2 of us in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime.

Please help us to help Macmillan.

Thank you!
