Story
Hello, friends, family, and potential supporters!
My name is Melissa, and this year, I've taken on a challenge that's both exciting and close to my heart. I'm running my very first marathon — the iconic Berlin Marathon! But this race isn't just about crossing a personal finish line. I'm running to support a cause that makes a profound difference in the lives of children and their families: Rebecca House in the Isle of Man.
Why Rebecca House?
Rebecca House is more than just a charity; it's a sanctuary that provides palliative care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. This incredible place offers not just medical care, but love, laughter, and a semblance of normalcy to children and families navigating unimaginable challenges. Their dedication to ensuring that every child and family enjoys quality time together, in comfort and peace, truly inspires me.
My Goal
To make every step count, I'm aiming to raise £2000 to support Rebecca House. Every mile I conquer in Berlin will symbolise our collective effort to bring a little more light and love into the lives of these brave kids and their families.
How You Can Help

Join Me on This Journey
This marathon is more than a race; it's a testament to what we can achieve together for a cause that truly matters. I'll be sharing updates, training progress, and more about Rebecca House's impact as the marathon approaches. Together, we can cross the ultimate finish line — making a difference in the lives of children who need our support.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can offer. Let's make this marathon memorable, not just for me, but for the many lives we'll touch along the way.
