One of Ann’s great grandchildren Finn sings with a welsh charity choir called Only Boys Aloud. Finn has also been selected for the choir’s Academi which gives him fabulous performing opportunities in the UK and abroad (including the King’s Coronation). This choir transforms young lives giving confidence in a fun environment and the family would urge you to go and watch them if you have a chance. As the choir is now struggling for funds the family has chosen this cause for donations in lieu of flowers.

The Aloud Charity is running an urgent appeal to protect it’s future. Only Boys Aloud, which has supported more than 6,500 boys since 2010, needs your support today. With your help, Aloud can raise £150,000 to save the charity and keep boys in Wales singing.

Only Boys Aloud is the only free choir provision for young men in the country, and without funding, this provision will be lost. Not only is it a free resource for boys in Wales, but it is non-auditioned and provides a safe space for them to find friends and grow into brilliant young men. We have years of experience and evidence to show that our activities build confidence, self-esteem, skills for future, open career pathways, and enhance mental wellness in young men.
