As a midwife at Darent Valley Hospital, I witness the incredible work of our special care baby unit every day. These tiny fighters are battling for their lives, and it's our duty to provide them with the specialised care they need to thrive. That's why I'm participating in the "Support the special care of babies" campaign by walking on a treadmill for 12 hours and hosting a bake sale. On November 13th, 2023, I'll be taking steps towards making a difference in these babies' lives.
