Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In November 2024 I will be doing a challenge trek in Iceland (volcanic activity permitting!) to raise funds for East Cheshire Hospice. I am funding the total cost of the trip myself, so 100% of any money that is donated here will go to the Hospice.

We will be hiking to Iceland’s youngest volcano, Gelgingaldir and neighbouring Fagradaslsfjall before exploring the ethereal peaks of the Mount Hengill heritage site – scaling the impressive Vörðuskeggi Peak with spectacular views over Lake Þingvellir, and Eyjafjallajökull and the distant Westman Islands. Our adventures will also see us trek along the fault lines between Europe and America.

This is definitely outside my comfort zone! - I'm a hospice volunteer, but usually found in the office! Any donation that you make, no matter how small, will help the hospice provide their amazing services - Thank You xxx

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
