This year, Meinhardt UK has decided to support Centrepoint, which does vital work in tackling homelessness. They support over 14,000 16–25-year-olds each year. Not only do they provide a safe, warm, and stable place to live, but they also help young people tackle physical and mental health issues and develop independent living skills by providing them with access to education, employment, and training opportunities.

Our UK office is delighted to play host to our 7th annual mixed touch rugby event, where various corporate rugby teams from across the property sector will come together for an afternoon of friendly competition. We want to thank all the teams for their entry donations to the tournament and for their support at the event, where there will be further fun ways to donate.

This year, we aim to raise a total of £10,000 for Centrepoint, so that we can help support vulnerable people within the local area.

How your money can help:

£12.50 could help Centrepoint answer a young person’s call to our Helpline, investigate their issue, and follow up with solutions to avoid homelessness.

£15 could help provide a comfy bed and mattress and give someone their first decent night’s sleep in months.

£40 could help pay for an initial mental and physical health assessment so that a young person gets the needed support.

£65 could help pay for textbooks and course supplies, helping a young person study for college and build a new future for themselves.

£100 could help provide a counsellor to support homeless young people – this could be the first person they’ve trusted in a long time.
