Story

I’m so excited to share that I will be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowden for the very first time, to raise funds for Diana Brindlecombe Animal Rescue Centre (DBARC). This hike is not only a personal challenge for me but also a chance to make a real difference in the lives of many vulnerable animals. Every step I take will contribute to DBARC.

As someone that is new to hiking, this is going to be a massive challenge for me but I’m committed to training hard over the next couple of months to push through and reach the summit!

This hike is more than just a physical, personal challenge; it’s an opportunity to support vulnerable animals who will benefit massively from our help! I appreciate everyone’s support - every donation goes directly to providing the best care for all animals in their rescue.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!

About the charity

DBARC was founded over 50 years ago and initially animals rescued were kept at the home of Mrs Brimblecombe, who was awarded the MBE in 2001 for services to animal rescue. Some incredibly generous legacies enabled the charity to move to a properly equipped rescue centre, and in May 2003 in Hurst.
