Story

On 14 June 2025, our incredible team will take on a 9 mile and 18 mile hike through Northern Ireland's most dramatic mountain range.

I am taking on this challenge in memory of my auntie Jillian. The Marie Curie team provided the best end of life care for Jillian in her final days of fighting a battle with cancer. Jillian remained strong and full of life, following her diagnosis which was incredible. She made a difference in so many people’s lives, so I want to help make a difference too, by raising money for Marie Curie.

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families at the most challenging time.

£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.

£26 helps fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or web chat.

£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home
