Fundraising for Samaritans Pendle (Nelson)
On London Marathon day, Sunday 21st April, I am walking the Balloon of Hope, a 26.4 mile walk. This marathon challenge is to raise awareness and funds for Pendle, Craven, Burnley and Rossendale Branch of Samaritans supporting the branch and their many activities.
The walk covers all these areas above.
We will start at 6am in Kelbrook to walk the 10 mile 'Heart" and then we will make our way down the balloon picking up more walkers as we go, through Foulridge, Colne, Nelson, Brierfield and Burnley over the hill and finishing at Rawtenstall Market ....phew !
Samaritans are 70 years old this year and are the chosen charity for the 2024 London Marathon.
Thank you for your support, any amount is much appreciated.
