Nottingham Medics' Musical 2024 "9 to 5: The Musical"

For many years, the fourth-year medical students at the University of Nottingham have been staging an annual musical extravaganza, and this year is no exception. We are so excited to confirm that this year’s musical will be no other than the brilliant “9 to 5: The Musical”! 

The entire production is planned, produced, performed and directed by our students. It boasts a wonderful opportunity to showcase the talented performers in our cohort, and spark creativity outside of the world of medicine. As preparations begin early, the musical brings students from different placement and teaching locations together throughout the year, helping to reduce loneliness and build new friendships within the community. In addition to this, some staff members also perform in the show which helps to connect staff and students together in a unique and fun way! 

With such a fantastic show to produce, we of course do need “a way to make a living” (pun intended) so we can pay our rent, licensing fees, theatre costs and more! Any support from our our fellow students, families, friends, and alumni would be massively appreciated, so that we can continue to bring this production to life and show you all what we’ve been working on.

The musical will take place at the Nottingham Arts Theatre on the 7th, 8th and 9th March 2024.
