Did you know, Breast Cancer is the most common cancer with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes. Every year around 11,500 women and 85 men die from breast cancer in the UK – that’s nearly 1,000 deaths each month, one every 45 minutes. Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women under 50 in the UK.
Wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or workplaces for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now and this year the London.Monks are getting involved too!
Let’s help Breast Cancer Now reach its mission to make sure that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives, and is supported to live well. By wearing it pink next Thursday, you can help them get there…
