A small team of volunteers are traveling on July 10th to work with the children served by the Wellspring Children's Medical Centre in Uganda.

Over the past 2 years, as a result of the strict Ugandan COVID lockdown, the worldwide consequences of the war in Ukraine and a severe drought, poverty has greatly increased in the villages surrounding Wellspring. Malnutrition and starvation have become commonplace, particularly amongst the children, and the lives of children suffering from serious illnesses or disabilities are greatly at risk.

The Medcare team are planning to visit as many of the neediest families as possible during their time in Uganda.

Each family will be provided with food, bedding, mosquito nets, clothing and small gifts.
