Story

Manchester City supporters are coming together to say NO to the decision to host the 2023 Charity Shield match at Wembley yet again, at a 5:30pm Sunday kick off time that shows no consideration for City fans, and are putting their money where their mouth is by raising funds for Manchester foodbanks.

Football fans across the country are being taken for granted more than ever, and yet another expensive 400mile round-trip to London, at a time that would leave many Blues stranded, shows just how charitable the Charity Shield is.

1894 group are working with MCFC Fans Foodbank Support to take a stand against Charity Shield's continually being hosted at Wembley with no respect for Northern clubs, whilst looking out for their own communities by donating money they would've spent on the 2023 Charity Shield to Manchester Central Foodbank.
