Thanks for visiting my page. I, Councillor Marie Bradburn will be raising money for the SieveMK Gateway as my chosen charity during my Mayoral year and I'd be so grateful for your support.

SMK exists to tackle the problem of educational underachievement among young people in Milton Keynes, particularly those of black and minority ethnic (BAME) descent. We aim to create opportunities, deliver excellence and change people's lives, all through the power of education.

Since 2007 we have been delivering learning and mentoring programmes for young people, to help them acquire the employability skills and/or qualifications required for further and higher education and career advancement. We hope to reduce the number of 16-24 year olds in the city who are currently not in education, employment or training (NEET).
