Thanks for visiting my page. I, Councillor Mick Legg and Mandy Legg, will be raising money for the Harry's Rainbow as one of my chosen charities during my Mayoral year and I'd be so grateful for your support.

Harry’s Rainbow support children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, in the 11 years since the charity began, we have helped over 620 children and young people.

The aims of the charity are to provide support and relief for children, young people (up to the age of 25 years) and their families by:

• Providing mentoring, emotional well-being support and advice through facilitated internal and partner agency support groups, provision of books, resources and via our website and social networking sites.

• Providing recreational and leisure activities to children and young people in order to improve their conditions of life and reduce the isolation felt during bereavement by facilitating contact with other children, young people and their families;

• Raising public awareness of the need for support and guidance and providing information about coping with bereavement.
