Story

I am raising funds for Scotty's Little Soldiers, the charity dedicated to supporting bereaved military children and young people.

Scotty's are currently supporting over 650 bereaved military children around the UK, and I want to help them achieve their goal of supporting 1000+ annually by 2030.

Cisco colleagues around the globe are gearing up for a unique challenge this May, tackling a marathon's distance through various sports, each sports distance adapted with a magic formula for fairness.

Those familiar with my usual approach know I like to shake things up a bit. I can't ask you to sponsor me to walk a mile a day when the last time I asked for help was to run through the Sahara Desert....

I'm setting my sights on being the first across the finish line globally, before anyone else has even got out of bed and considered starting!

My plan is to kick off at midnight on May 1st and to complete a two hour cycle ride, followed by a half marathon with the goal of crossing the finish line by 04:00 before normal people have even thought about starting!

Thanks for helping me support Scotty's Little Soldiers.
