Story

Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their communities, schools or workplaces, to help make life-changing breast cancer research and support happen.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2018 after my 1st routine mammogram screening.

I had surgery and radiotherapy and continue on medication (tamoxifen) for up to 10 years post surgery.

I have had yearly mammograms since and so far remain clear of breast cancer.

I am forever grateful for the early diagnosis and treatment that I received by the wonderful people at Lincoln and Boston Breast Units.
