Story
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
In June, I went to A&E where they found a malignant tumour (Glioblastoma), a form of brain cancer with very low survivability, even in the short term. Since being diagnosed, I have had a deep desire to raise awareness about the condition and the lack of funding for research.
As my time on Earth is limited, I want to spend all my remaining time on fundraising, raising awareness, and helping research progress for this awful condition.
Despite the devastating impact this diagnosis has had on me, my family and my friends, I want to share the real story of living with a terminal illness and how we can change the future of brain cancer research.
Please join me on my journey on instagram @maxvardybraincancer and let's fight this condition together.
