Story
Me and my best mate James are running the Mount Snowdon 24-hour Trail Ultra. From 10am on 13th July, for 24 hours we will relay up and down Snowdon (around 15KM and 3,500 feet of ascent per rep!), attempting to summit the mountain as many times as possible between us.
Why are we doing this? Partly for the challenge but also to try and raise some cash for a fantastic cause!
The charity Sported tackles inequality and makes a huge social impact by offering much-needed resources and support to grassroots sports organisations.
Sport provides vital opportunities for young people from all backgrounds, helping them to develop a variety of essential life skills. What's more, grassroots sport organisations greatly benefit their local communities, not least through the provision of facilities allowing local people of all ages and abilities to play sport and keep fit.
The impact Sported has on young people and their communities can't be overstated. So if you can afford to, please dig deep (much like me and James will be on Mount Snowdon) and if you can't then please give this a share.
