This March I will be running the Bath Half Marathon to raise money for Maggie’s Cancer Centres in support of my amazing Mum, Lisa. In July 2022 she was diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer, after cancer was found in both her breast and her spine. The cancer is Stage 4 and though it is treatable, it is not curable and she will undergo treatment for the rest of her life.

Maggie’s is an amazing charity which run 26 centres throughout the UK offering free support to anyone with cancer and their families. My Mum is lucky enough to live near a Maggie’s centre in Cheltenham, where she regularly attends a support group and can just pop in for a chat with the staff at any time. Maggie’s truly does make a huge difference to the lives of those living with cancer and is funded entirely on voluntary donations and grants.
