Story
Join us for our second Christmas Tail and be a part of something truly special. While we wish you could all be here with us in person, we're excited to announce that we'll be livestreaming the event on our Facebook page, Max Out in The Lake District, on December 9th. We know this year has been tough for everyone, but if you're able to tune in and show your support virtually, every donation helps us continue our mission. Our costs have risen considerably this year as we've had to adapt to holding the event online, but we're determined to make it just as magical as ever.
At 'A Christmas Tail', there will be surprises around every corner - laughter, tears, and maybe even a twist in the tail. But most importantly, this event is all about supporting the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS). This incredible charity saves lives every day by rescuing severely injured or ill patients throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. Last year alone they responded to 1,640 call outs via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles.
We're proud to support GNAAS and their life-saving work. Every pound you donate today goes towards making a difference in someone's life. So please join us on December 9th for 'A Christmas Tail' and help us reach and break our fundraising goal.
