I believe that refugees deserve better, and so I'm fundraising for Refugee Action. They've been standing up for refugees since 1981, and their vision is that refugees and people seeking asylum will be welcome in the UK.

They deliver frontline services for refugees, and campaign for their rights. Please donate if you can, and help fight for a fairer future for refugees and people seeking safety.

Compassion and support for those fleeing persecution has never been more important than it is today in an increasingly hostile and divided world. Please help me to make a small, positive difference to the lives of innocent people and show that we're on the side of the oppressed, not the oppressors.

Preparation for this marathon has been a long, tortuous journey, plagued by injury. I wasn't sure until very recently (and I'm still not 100% certain) that I'd even be able to do it, hence the last minute plea for donations. I've put myself through quite a bit of physical and emotional pain to get to this point, so please help me make it all worthwhile.
