This autumn, I am climbing Mera Peak, in the Khumbu region of Nepal. At 6476 meters, it is considered the highest trekking peak in the Himalayas.

I am fundraising for 2BU Somerset, a charity offering support to LGBTQ+ young people in Somerset.

I have chosen this charity because, as an heteroflexible person, I have an understanding of how difficult it can be to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning of sexuality or gender identity.

As a counsellor and educator in Somerset, I have seen the amazing work that this organisation does in the county, supporting young people, as well as educating, lobbying and flying the flag.

Please support me in my adventure whilst supporting young people in their adventure of exploring their sexual and gender identity.
