I am taking part in a race on the 7th July to fundraise for the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

Today Blue Dragon is working directly with over 20,000 children and families from around Vietnam, transforming the lives of kids in crisis.

In Vietnam, over 66% of the population live in rural areas, where most families only earn $1-2 a day, meaning most children have no choice but to quit school and move far from home, hence leaving them exposed to crisis situations such as slavery, homelessness, and extreme poverty. Blue Dragon finds children and young people in these situations and works with them for the long-term so they can heal from trauma, injustice and disadvantage. Furthermore, everything witnessed on the frontline is then used by them in their advocacy to improve laws and policies protecting the vulnerable. Therefore, they are essential in protecting the lives of children in Vietnam.
